In Emily’s personal family home, the kitchen’s original 1987 cabinets were among the first to go – along with the knock-down texture on the walls. Inspired by the unfussy design of British kitchens, Emily first chose a range and marble slabs, and added a large island and pantry – two things their previous home was without.
