Meet Emily Bemis Ruff.
Emily is an interior designer and decorator in Seattle where she lives with her husband Evan and two dogs Stella and Rosco in their 1947 Cape Cod. Her passion for interior design started at a very young age from admiring neighbors design projects, touring model homes and insisting on redecorating her room yearly...all before age twelve.
Emily has a discerning eye for design and space planning, seeing the design come to life in her mind before the real planning even begins. Her success and experience in corporate project and account management allow her to manage relationships with vendors and contractors seamlessly while ensuring that every detail is thoughtfully designed and executed.
She specializes in helping new home buyers discover their style and understand the renovation and interior design process step by step. Emily loves educating clients on quality furnishings and materials to help make deciding where to invest and where to stay conservative easy and straightforward for her clients. She has learned through experience that nothing about a renovation will go perfectly, but there is a solution for every problem and you never have to sacrifice beautiful results.
Each room is a puzzle and Emily loves nothing more than searching relentlessly to source the perfect finishes and pieces to bring rooms to life. Her style is modern eclectic and she incorporates traditional, transitional, modern, bohemian, eclectic and vintage pieces into each design. Whether your project requires full-service design, an in-person consultation or e-design you are guaranteed to get a space you love that feels cohesively curated.
Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Economics from the University of Washington and a Certificate in Kitchen & Bath Design from Century College which is accredited by the NKBA.
